Originally launched in the Fall of 2019, the Songwriting Community began to take off during a global pandemic, but fell silent through a season of transition. Though our team continued writing, we began to create a rhythm of coming together for Creative team writing sessions in the Fall of 2023 and have seen God move mightily through the gathering and also through the songs.
We are excited to open our doors to songwriters of all ages, genres and places in their faith journey – Everyone’s Welcome regardless of skill level or belief in God! Anchored in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we are here to create a community for those who wish to connect with other songwriters, grow in their craft and tell the untold stories from their point of view.

This event will be the kickoff of our Songwriting Community that will include a songwriter round, dinner, and next steps for how we can begin this community together and watch how God uses this group for His glory through music!

Join a Songwriting Session
These sessions are meant to provide a space for Cross Point’s larger Songwriting Community to meet in smaller circles in various areas of town and days as a way to spark creativity, relationships and new songs.
