We kick things off on May 27, 2024 and will be at camp for four days, wrapping things up on May 31, 2024.

Cross Point Students have been chosen as the SURGE team! Our team’s color is blue, so send your students with all the blue clothes and accessories they can carry! During rec time, our students will participate in some competitions where they will earn points throughout the week and hopefully take home the gold!

CAMP FAQS

What are the dates of camp?

Monday, May 27 – Friday, May 31

What will my student be participating in at rec camp?

Rec Camp includes engaging worship from experienced worship leaders, learning through sound Biblical teaching, community in Small Groups and fun at recreation!



What free time options are there?

Outdoor basketball, miniature golf, frisbee golf, tennis, pool, pedal boats, pedal carts*, hiking trails, volleyball, foosball, ping pong, snack bar, aqua park*, bazooka ball*, Wet Willie water slide* and paintball*.

*Requires advance reservations that Cross Point will secure and distribute tickets accordingly. Please mark your student’s top choices on their registration form. While we can’t guarantee each student will get all of their three choices, we will do our best to accommodate.



What is the minimum amount required to sign up?

There is a $100 non-refundable deposit. 

Can I pay with cash or a check?

Payments can only be made using a credit or debit card.  



When is the balance due?

Final balances are due May 15, 2024.  To pay the final balance, please login here: Make a Payment

Are scholarships available?

Yes! We don’t want money to be why a student can not attend Summer Camp. 

Scholarship funds can be requested via our Scholarship Interest Form at https://crosspoint.tv/student-camp-scholarship-interest/.  

The scholarship form will not be reviewed until a student registers and pays the deposit to Cross Point. Scholarship applications are due by May 10, 2024.

Will other churches be at this camp?

Yes. We will join other churches from all over the country at Student Life Camp.



What are the accommodations?

We will stay on-site at Shocco Springs Conference Center located in Talladega, Alabama. Students are assigned rooms based on their grades and gender-specific small groups.



How much spending money should my student bring?

This is entirely at your discretion, however, there will be expenses that are not covered by your registration fee. There will be one meal on the way to camp and one meal coming back from camp that your student will be responsible for. Additionally, whatever extra spending money your student would want while at camp. They will have the opportunity to buy snacks, shirts and other swag while at camp.

What ages can attend camp?

Completed sixth-grade students through completed twelfth-grade students. Graduated seniors are welcome!

Are children outside of the grades permitted at camp allowed to join? No



What is the ratio of adults to students?

One adult to seven students



What do we pack?
  • Appropriate, casual clothing for four nights of worship.
  • Appropriate clothing for three days of recreation.
    • Blue color clothing and hype gear (sunglasses, hats, etc.) since our team is the BLUE TEAM (Surge)
    • Water Day attire: Dark clothing that can get wet, Flip Flops, Chacos, or Crocs, etc. 
    • Other Days: Comfortable clothing for outdoor activities, closed-toed shoes, etc.
  • Appropriate, comfortable clothing for the trip home
  • Pajamas
  • Bible, pen and notebook
  • Toiletries
  • Towels and washcloths
  • Spending money for two meals (one on the way and one coming back), snacks and the Student Life Store
  • Watch and/or alarm clock
  • Sunscreen
  • Water bottle
  • Bug spray
  • Swimsuit and beach towel
  • Hand soap for bathrooms

    Up to the parent’s discretion:

    • Snacks
    • Headphones/AirPods
    • Electronics
    • Spending money for merch at camp and snacks on the drive
What do we NOT pack?

What NOT to pack:

  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco (including Vape products)
  • Illegal drugs
  • Fireworks
  • Any kind of weapon – including pocket knives
  • Water guns/water balloons

 



Is there a dress code?

Yes! All students must follow the guidelines below:

  • No tight clothing or clothing that reveals undergarments
  • No short shorts or skirts
  • Shirts should have straps that are at least three fingers wide 
  • No speedos or midriff-baring bathing suits 
  • No clothing that promotes alcohol, cigarettes or any other inappropriate items 
  • No clothing with questionable sayings, slogans, etc.
What time will we leave on May 27?

Registration opens at 9:00 AM, with everyone aboard the buses by 9:45 AM. We will be departing from Cross Point Nashville at 10:00 AM.


What is the cancellation policy?

Your $100 deposit is non-refundable. The final date to cancel your student’s registration is May 1, and any outstanding balance over your deposit will be canceled or refunded to you.
