The Gospel of Mark
For the first time as a church, we’re diving headfirst into a year-long journey through the Gospel of Mark. That’s right. One book. One year. Verse by verse. Chapter by chapter. From April 2025 to April 2026, and Everyone’s Welcome.
If you’re wondering, “Why Mark?” it’s because Mark gets straight to the point. It’s fast. It’s raw. It’s honest. Written in a time of crisis, Mark boldly proclaims the truth our world is still desperate to hear: Jesus is King. Every heart longs for a King like Jesus, whether we realize it yet or not. In a world full of chaos and uncertainty, people need to know there is someone they can trust, someone they can hope in, someone who offers true life.
This isn’t just a sermon series. It’s a soul reset. It’s an invitation to walk closely with Jesus: to wrestle with His miracles, to soak in His words, to be undone by His love and to be reshaped by His truth. At Cross Point, we say that with Jesus, Anything’s Possible, and we believe this could be the year that changes everything.

Reading Plan
This isn’t about checking a box; it’s about walking with Jesus one story at a time. Our suggestion is to read through the entire book of Mark once a month (It takes roughly 60 minutes to read the book in one go.) To support this, the resource guide below follows the natural flow of the book and breaks it up into 30 parts, so you can read every day and digest the entire book every month.
