Cross Point Nashville exists to help people find and follow Jesus in a community where authenticity, hope, and everyday faith come together. As a church in the heart of Nashville, we’re committed to being a place where Everyone’s Welcome, because we know that Nobody’s Perfect and life can feel complicated, overwhelming, or even lonely. Between work, family pressures, finances, and nonstop schedules, it’s easy to feel spiritually drained or unsure where you belong. So many people want to grow in their faith but don’t always know where to start. At Cross Point Church, we believe with all our hearts that with Jesus, Anything’s Possible. That conviction has guided the story of our church from the very beginning.

Cross Point Nashville has always been more than a building; it’s a vibrant community where people from every walk of life can experience the hope of Jesus and build meaningful relationships. It’s the kind of church where friendships feel like family and where you can genuinely engage your relationship with God at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church after years away, or looking for a spiritual home where you and your family can grow, this campus is designed with you in mind.

Our story began in 2002 when Cross Point Church launched in Nashville with a simple but bold vision: to help people find and follow Jesus. In those early days, our church met at Gower Elementary School, gathering a small but passionate community of people who believed God wanted to do something significant in Middle Tennessee. What started as a portable church setup each week quickly became a growing movement as more and more people found hope, purpose, and community through Jesus.

As the church continued to grow, we moved to Charlotte Park, creating more space for ministry and providing a home base for a church that was expanding both in size and impact. During those years, God continued to write story after story of life change as people encountered Jesus, built meaningful relationships, and discovered a place to belong.

Then, in 2011, Cross Point Nashville entered a new chapter when we moved into our current downtown location on Cowan Street, in the shadow of Nissan Stadium. What was once an industrial warehouse became a place of worship, community, and transformation. The move represented far more than a change of address; it reflected a growing vision to serve Nashville and help people across the city encounter the hope of Jesus.

Over the years, we’ve seen incredible growth and transformation. We’ve celebrated thousands of baptisms, watched marriages be restored, dedicated children, launched groups, raised up leaders, planted new campuses, and walked alongside people through every season of life. Through seasons of challenge and seasons of blessing, God has remained faithful. What began as a new church meeting in a school cafeteria has become a thriving church family serving communities across Middle Tennessee.

Through every season, Cross Point Nashville has remained focused on one purpose: creating a place where people can encounter God and experience authentic community. We’ve seen lives changed through worship, practical teaching, local outreach, student and kids ministries, global missions, and relationships that continue far beyond Sunday mornings. As our church has flourished, so has our opportunity to serve Nashville and invest in the people who call this city home.

All of this; the vision, the growth, the stories of life change, and the ministry that continues today is driven by one purpose: to create a space where you can breathe, reset, and experience God in a fresh way. A space where you can show up joyful, hurting, curious, skeptical, hopeful, overwhelmed, or uncertain, and be met with warmth, grace, and welcome. At Cross Point Church, we keep things simple: warm hospitality, practical teaching rooted in Scripture, meaningful sung worship, vibrant environments for kids and students, a dedicated space for College students, and the opportunities to build real relationships.

When you visit Cross Point Nashville, our hope is that you are met with kindness and hospitality, and the freedom to explore faith at your own pace. When you arrive on a Sunday morning, you’ll be welcomed into a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Here’s what you can expect:

• As you arrive on campus, our team will be available to help you find parking and point you in the right direction.

• As you step into the building, our Guest Experience team will greet you and help you find anything you need. From Kids Check-In to the auditorium to the Info Center, we’re here to make your experience as comfortable as possible. If it’s your first time, we’d love to give you a small gift and share a bit about Cross Point.

• Prefer to take it slow? No problem. If you’d rather fly under the radar, simply make your way to the auditorium where a team member will help you find a seat. You’re welcome to experience the service at your own comfort level.

• Services typically last around 65 minutes and include sung worship led by our team, a welcome from our Campus Pastor, and practical, hope-filled teaching from Pastor Kevin Queen or another member of our teaching team. Services usually close with prayer, reflection, or an opportunity to receive prayer from our team.

• If you’d like to talk with someone, or are curious about next steps, the Info Center is the best place to go. Our volunteers and staff would love to support you however they can; whether that’s helping you join a group, learn about serving, find resources for your family, or simply share what’s going on in your life.
